Terence Thompson What was your first job and what did you learn from it?
My first job was a bagger at a local grocery store while in high school. I learned a lot during my time there but my main lessons I learned was teamwork, responsibilities, and treating everyone with respect. I use the combination of the 3 in my personal and work life every day!

What is your favorite book?
“Who Stole My Cheese?” by Spencer Johnson It’s a short read but very motivational.

What is your favorite inspirational quote?
“He who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish nothing in life” Muhammad Ali

What skills are essential to become a successful franchisee?
Traits of successful franchisees I have seen over the years: hard working, entrepreneurial spirit, good with numbers, organized, motivated/driven, ability to follow a system, open to new things/ideas, ability to receive feedback, great communication and people skills, and desire to succeed.

If you had to pick another profession, what would it be?
I would pick Photography- I enjoy telling stories through a camara lens.

What do you like most about your current role?
What I like most about my role is helping entrepreneurs develop into successful C Store operators in our communities, following a proven blueprint with Circle K
